Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you work out of a salon or do you provide in-room service?
A: I am an on-location Make-up Artist which means that I travel to you! The last thing you want to be doing on your wedding day is to fight traffic, get lost driving around Hawaii, and feel rushed and stressed- That is why we take all the anxiety out of your day by showing up on location with all the tools and product so that you can relax and enjoy a day of pampering and feeling like a celebrity.
Q: Do you do airbrush makeup and what is the difference between airbrush and regular foundation?
A: I DO offer airbrush makeup application and find it very effective for long-lasting, sweat-proof, semi-matte finish. It is also effective in covering any redness or pigmentation and scarring with medium to full coverage without a heavy application. Some women only need a tinted moisturizer and a touch of blot powder and they are good to go. Some women need a bit more coverage and want to ensure it stays on in the humid Hawaiian weather. Airbrush makeup is a great choice for most Hawaii brides, and plus it only takes about 10-15 mins to apply!
Q: What products do you use?
A: I was trained by MAC cosmetics in Paris, France so I prefer to use their products. I was educated in their product line with the ingredient benefits and great results. This way I can recommend which products to use for my clients and give them the best service possible. That said, I do love makeup from ALL lines and have products from different cosmetics such as Clarins, Jane Iredale, Nars, Make-up Forever Estee Lauder, and Bobbi Brown to name a few.
Q: Fake lashes… do I need them?
A: Need is a strong word. The real question is do you WANT them! Who wouldn’t want thicker, longer, more voluminous lashes! I do a beautiful individual lash application which looks absolutely seamless and gives the effect of full, luscious lashes. It makes a big difference in pictures too, but even up close they are stunning and very real.
